An oven door that stays locked after self-clean is a latch and control problem. Do not force it. Here is what to do instead.
Self-clean cycles lock the door on purpose because cavity temperatures are extreme. If the lock does not release after the oven has cooled, forcing the door can damage the latch and the door. This is an oven article, not a washer-lid lock article.
Owner-safe steps: wait until the oven is actually cool, confirm you have not started another lockout cycle, and check the control for a lock indicator. Do not pry. Do not cut the latch.
If the door remains locked after a full cool-down, the latch, lock motor, or control may not be completing the unlock sequence. That needs diagnosis.
